LAW AND GRACE

The Law refers to the Ten Commandments, other rituals and moral regulations of the Jews.Te purpose of the law was to help people attain righteousness though it was difficult because a break in one law has cancelled all other acts of righteousness.

Grace is an unmerited favour. It is God’s free offer of salvation for all those who believe. It is the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ.

The Purpose and Significance of Law and Grace(Romans 4:13-25, 5:8-21)

St.Paul uses the case of Abraham and Adam to explain law and grace.

According to St.Paul, Man lives by faith and not by the law.
